3 Palms Action Sports Park opened in 2001, offering a wide variety of adrenaline-packed excitement. Hosting events from motocross to BMX to wakeboarding, as well as many other activities, the park grew beyond just being a site for family fun, competitions, and amusement. Spread across 225 acres north of Houston, owner Emil Shebelbon II wanted to expand his physical facilities to include, among other things, a place for motorcycle sales and maintenance.

As the owner of a general contracting company, Emil knew just who to call: Whirlwind Steel Buildings. Wanting the extension, and especially the bike shop, to look aesthetically pleasing and modern while also being cost-effective, Emil chose the many benefits that come from choosing a metal building. The new facility now features a second-story mezzanine that holds offices and a conference area in a loft style, which opens onto the first floor and is lined with Galvalume Plus™ Cor Span X. On the north-facing side of the building, large windows give customers a view of one of the many dirt tracks on the property. Emil says the building is “one of the coolest metal buildings you’ll see” and is proud of the results.
